New English info-website presented

World Economy & Development in brief is the English edition of the German “Informationsbrief Weltwirtschaft & Entwicklung”, which has been sponsored for more than ten years by WEED, Germany, and is now being published independently by its founder and long-standing editor Rainer Falk.

World Economy & Development in brief is a bi-monthly information service on globalisation, international development and environmental issues which will be published regularly as of April, 2006. Two Pilot Issues of World Economy & Development in brief will be published during the next six months. Already now online are selected articles, documents, reports and an introductory offer to subscribe to World Economy & Development in brief and to its e-mail alert. Two Special Issues (on HBF’s Femme Globale, called "Gender Perspectives in the 21st Century") are also available as well as free sample copies.
